Dear Parents and Carers,
We want to start by thanking those families who came to last week’s coffee morning with the Senior Leadership Team. They shared great ideas on how we could improve as a school, which we will reflect and act upon. We value all of your views and want to reiterate our commitment to working in partnership with families to get the best outcomes for our children and young people. We will have another coffee morning with senior leads soon and you are all welcome.
Next week’s coffee morning will be a chance to chat, mingle with other parents/carers or get information from our Family Inclusion Team. The week after (9th December), CAMHs (Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services) will be hosting a clinic to support with sleep difficulties.
This week, all of our pupils had a fantastic opportunity to take part in a workshop led by members of the percussion group and theatrical show STOMP. The sessions were filled with energy and excitement, and it was wonderful to see such high levels of enjoyment and participation across both days. We are incredibly grateful to our School Charity for making this special event possible.
As December approaches next week, we are excited to launch our Winter Programme of activities! We would like to invite all families to join us for the Parent/Carer Winter Festival on December 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 am, which will feature special performances by some of our pupils. Further information, including details on how to register attendance, will be provided closer to the event date.
You can expect the next fortnightly upload on Evidence for Learning (EfL) on Thursday 4th December to see examples of your child’s learning in action. It is wonderful to see the family uploads that you share with us and if you need any support with the EfL app or your account, you can email accountsupport@swisscottage.camden.sch.uk.
