Dear Families,

Next week we are looking forward to seeing you for Family Learning Week. The class time slots are listed below and if you would like to attend, please make sure you have ticked the sticker in the home/school diary or you can email the office to confirm at admin@swisscottage.camden.sch.uk.

Next week’s coffee morning is dedicated to the upcoming Community Day on Saturday 11th July. We have already had some great ideas, donations and pledges of support from families – thank you for your support. This special event helps us raise valuable funds for our school community and promises to be a fantastic day for everyone.
 
We hope to see you this Tuesday at 10am if you would like to join and offer support or ideas at the coffee morning. In the meantime, here are some ways that you can help in the lead up to the event:

1. Sponsored Bubble Walk
Your child will soon receive a sponsorship form next week to support their participation in a Sponsored Bubble Walk ahead of the event.  We would be grateful if families could encourage relatives and friends to sponsor their child.

2. Raffle
Raffle tickets books will be sent home soon in your child's school bag. There will be some fantastic prizes on offer and we ask parents and carers to help by selling as many tickets as possible to family, friends and colleagues. We would also be delighted to receive donations of raffle prizes.

3. Donations for Sale Stalls
We would be very grateful for donations of:

  • Brand new toys
  • Children’s books in good condition
  • New clothes

These items will be sold on our stalls during the event and can be brought to the school office from today. 

4. Tombola Donations
We are also collecting suitable items for our Tombola stall. Chocolates, toiletries and other new, unused items are always popular and greatly appreciated.

5. Baked Goods Stall
We know we have some wonderful cooks in our school community and would love your support with our Baked Goods Stall. If you enjoy baking, we would be delighted to receive donations of cakes, biscuits, cupcakes and other homemade treats to sell on the day.
 
Please help spread the word!
 
Please advertise the event amongst your family, friends and local community and encourage them to come along and support our school.
