Dear Families, 

The final term of this academic year is here! We are looking forward to an incredible term filled with exciting curriculum learning opportunities. We are kicking this off with the National Government Art Archives bringing a famous piece of artwork for sensory art lessons next week across pathways. This week's newsletter gives an overview of this half term. 

Week 1: 15th April - 19th April: Today you will receive important learning information in your child’s bag. Summer Term Class Timetable, Curriculum Pathway Medium Term Plan, Learning Targets (known as Personal Learning Intention Map), and Overview of classmates and teaching team. The pack also includes your child’s Spring Term attendance and progress report.

Week 2: 22nd April - 26th April: The optional Spring Term progress meetings with the class teacher are scheduled. Thank you for completing the form if you planned to attend the optional progress meeting. The technology team will also be available if you require any tech support for Evidence for Learning. The ‘Evidence for Learning’ journal upload into the family portal is during this week. Tuesday, 23rd April 10am Parent/Carer Coffee Morning will include the NHS Nursing Team.

Week 3: 29th April - 3rd May: Tuesday, 30th April 10am Parent/Carer Coffee Morning will include members from Camden Council.

Week 4: 6th May - 10th May: ‘Evidence for Learning’ journal upload into the family portal is during this week. Monday, 6th May is a national Bank Holiday and the school will be closed.

Week 5: 13th May - 17th May: Tuesday, 14th May 10am Parent/Carer Coffee Morning will include planning for the End of Year International Day.

Week 6: 20th May - 24th May: ‘Evidence for Learning’ journal upload into the family portal is during this week. Tuesday, 21st May 10am Parent/Carer Coffee Morning will include the Camden Educational Psychologist Team with their second session on Trauma Informed Practice. 

Preparation for Adulthood Event: Camden Council are hosting a fantastic programme on 16th May 10-2:30pm at the Greenwood Centre.This is open to all families with children at Swiss Cottage School age 13-19. Workshops and activities will be a great opportunity to meet key colleagues from adult services, and connect with other parents/carers.
