Dear Families,
We hope this finds you well. We are shining a light on an exciting development taking place locally at the Swiss Cottage Library. The team at the library have shared an accessibility project that is underway to make the Children’s Zone and Teen’s Zone inclusive. They received funding through a donation, and have dedicated this to a design change in those areas of the library. The team want to make these areas a meaningful option for you to bring your children anytime after school, across the weekend, and during the holidays knowing it is so close to our school setting. We are also considering the option of classes using the Swiss Cottage Library for literacy and communication lessons after the project is completed.
We are so pleased to be working with the Swiss Cottage Library team and their architects to share recommendations for children and young people with additional needs. Their team are keen to gather your views on what you feel would support use of the areas. We have invited their team to a Tuesday Parent/Carer Coffee Morning and will confirm the date when it comes through.
Monday, 6th May: School is closed due to the National Bank Holiday.
Tuesday, 7th May 10am Parent/Carer Coffee Morning is the Eid celebration led by Hamdi. All families are invited to join this special celebration.
Wednesday, 8th May 10:30am Special Parents Forum Meeting is taking place at the Greenwood Centre. Join this important meeting to get updates on important pilots with the new EHCP model that is being considered. It is a great opportunity to connect with the wider parent/carer network. Information on the flyer below.
